Our Vision

At Little Sprouts Fine Arts Preschool we create enriching experiences for each child in a safe, supportive, nurturing, and respectful environment. We believe that children blossom most when participating in programs that emphasize the arts as part of their early childhood education. With a professional curriculum centered around the arts (music, art, and theater), we provide developmentally appropriate activities that promote intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development, aiming to prepare your little one for Kindergarten and beyond.

What We Offer

Your child will be welcomed into a positive and nurturing environment by our compassionate, dedicated, and incredibly gifted teachers. Join us and watch your child bloom into a capable, confident, creative, and caring human being!

Art introduces students to creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression. With a balanced mixture of process and product art projects, children explore colors, shapes, and textures, allowing them to express feelings and ideas freely. Creating art also develops fine motor skills and encourages them to experiment, boosting confidence in their own unique abilities.

Movement activities – such as dancing, obstacle courses, and simple exercises – help children build gros motor skills, balance, and spatial awareness. Active play releases energy, enhances physical health, and teaches students about their bodies’ capabilities, all which support focus and emotional well-being.

Music inspires rhythm, self-expression, and memorization in a fun, engaging way. As children sing, dance, explore musical instruments, and discover famous musicians, they enhance their auditory and motor skills. Music activities also foster emotional expression, social connection, and language development, bringing the class together through a shared love of song and movement.

Imaginative Play is vital for cognitive and social-emotional development. As children take on roles, create scenarios, and problem-solve, they practice empathy, language skills, and conflict resolution. Pretend play nurtures creativity, helping children make sense of the world and develop skills they’ll carry into real-life social situations.

Kindergarten readiness is the developmental stage where children possess the foundational social-emotional, academic, and self-help skills to thrive in school. It includes independence, managing emotions, following directions, basic literacy/numeracy knowledge, and curiosity. Key skills focus on well-rounded development rather than just academic proficiency.
